Wash and seal the roof. Drain and flush the hot water heater. Replace the sacrificial anode. Figure out why the automatic step doesn’t want to retract.

Overnight Parking

I stopped here one night and found a big parking lot with a lot of tractor trailers. I’m used to parking with the big guys so I pulled in and started making supper. I got a knock on the door and a nice park ranger sort of guy asked if I was planning to stay overnight. I said I would like to. He asked me if I would mind pulling around to the other side of the park and pick any spot over there so another truck could park where I was.
No problem. I moved and found a lovely, picnic sort of area with little pull-through parking spots and a nice hedge to block the road. Each spot had a covered picnic table, a grill area, a big trash barrel and a self-draining hydrant. Nice!
I’ve stopped there about five times now. Always a relaxing stop-over.

Cooking in a Camper

Interesting things can happen when you have to get creative to make things happen. I have a combination microwave/convection oven in the motor home rather than a propane oven. I also have a 4K watt generator that I could run to produce 120v electricity to use the convection oven. But I don’t like the noise. So. Cinnamon rolls in a frying pan is a nice option. In fact, I think I prefer them that way!
